The Owens sisters from Practical Magic. I love this film and I can’t quite figure out why I haven’t ever done any artwork based upon it.

Second image is Mattie Ross from True Grit, she’s a fiery girl of 14 and I loved her tenacity and strength to hunt after the man who killed her father.

Third image is the cover for The Red Penny Papers summer magazine, the featured story is ‘Flower Tongue’. It’s a wonderful Victorian adventure story of discovery and love set around the amazon and a rare orchid within.

Illustration for Black Lantern Publishing summer edition magazine. This is for a short story called ‘November Moon’. It’s a subtle story about vampires.
